When I saw this, I knew it was time to change the blog template.
While I’m a big fan of doug bowman’s original template, I hate seeing the same layout everywhere. And the fact that I may have the same taste as Rosie O’Donnell gives me shudders. I changed a few things really quickly while at work, so it’ll least tide me over until I can get a full redesign implemented. I’ve got the layout done, but with my freelance and poker commitments, i.e. not wanting to stop playing long enough to sit down and implement the template change, it’s taken a while.
I’m off soon to drink myself into the annual St. Patty’s day stupor, while tomorrow I have a much needed day off, followed by a weekend of debauchery in Vegas. I’m going to try to hit up two or three poker tourneys to see if my game is as good as I think it is. Lately I feel like I’ve been on fire, solid reads, and solid decisions. Last night I played two bar tourneys, in first one I finished twelfth, and while I got busted on an all-in that might have been questionable, I knew it was questionable and had decided to gamble, because my stack was short and the big blind was coming around. Unfortunately my A6c didn’t have much of a chance against the chip leader’s AQo when no clubs flopped and I didn’t improve.
